From "God's Own Country"!!!

Laughter, they say, is a medicine...my trip to the jewel of the Arabian sea gave me just that - In fact an overdose of it!

Starting with a train journey, that took three hours beyond the scheduled time to arrive, my departure was mired with the state going on a HARTAL!!! to protest the hike in fuel prices :) :) :)

My trip was a drip literally - Rains from the moment I arrived till the moment I departed. Sweat every moment (including inside the office!!! thanks to power cuts :) )
The phrase...Water, water everywhere but not one to drink must have got coined with this scene also in mind!

Since, I am an hardcore Optimist, I need to end this writing with a note of happiness...The program was a success and I met a long, lost, friend and most importantly enjoyed the great food right through...
